DOE Re-Opens Period for Comments on Energy Code Compliance Methodology

As described in a recent post, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy requested information and assistance from the public related to its current methodology for assisting states in assessing energy code compliance.  Upon request from multiple stakeholders, including Responsible Energy Codes Alliance, National Association of State Energy Officials, Building Codes Assistance Project, and NYSERDA, DOE published a Notice on September 10, 2013, and re-opened the public comment period through September 30, 2013.  For those interested in submitting comments, the relevant DOE contact information can be found in the Notice.
