On Monday, October 3, 2011, the Cleantech Alliance Mid-Atlantic, in conjunction with the Support Center for Child Advocates, will present a Green Building and Environmental Responsibility CLE that will explore design, regulatory, legal, and investment facets of sustainable development and water/stormwater management.

The program features two sessions:

Green Building and Development Standards. Sustainable building and development requirements and incentives are constantly evolving at federal and state levels. This panel discussion includes an up-to-date overview of design, regulatory, legal and financial requirements and incentives.

Water & Stormwater Management Best Practices. Population density and booming natural gas exploration activities are stressing water and stormwater management systems and practices. The Clean Water Act and other environmental and land use laws present their own requirements. The panel discussion focuses on the challenges and potential technology-based and systems-based solutions as viewed by industry, regulatory, investment and legal leaders.

More details on the program can be found here .

The program has been approved for 2.5 Pennsylvania CLE credits and is being hosted at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania. All proceeds from the event will support Child Advocates’ Project for Medically Need Children.
